Freedom to Fail Grants Available!

The Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida is sponsoring a grant fund to support Mission: Iconic Reefs located in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The focus of this grant program is to support “Freedom to Fail” projects to facilitate innovations in coral and grazer restoration. The intent of the Freedom to Fail (F2F) projects is to foster innovations without the constraints of typical deliverables associated with traditional restoration grants, such as the number of outplants or area restored. F2F projects should push the limits of current techniques to advance efficiency or efficacy.

The F2F fund currently has $85,500. Proposals at any funding level within this amount will be considered. Projects must be located within Florida.
