Welcome to the Coral Reef Restoration Online Course!

 

Choosing the right approach for your location’s specific needs and capabilities can be tough. 

So, in partnership with The Nature Conservancy’s Reef Resilience Network, we designed a course that provides coral reef managers and practitioners best practice guidance for restoration techniques.

 

Seven dynamic lessons explore strategic planning for coral reef restoration, propagating corals for restoration through field-based, land-based, and larval-based approaches, enhancing and stabilizing physical reef structure, rapid restoration response after acute disturbances, and monitoring for restoration success.

Lesson include new science, case studies, and management practices and we periodically update the course as the field progresses. Once you have completed all the lessons, you will be able to download a certificate to let the world that you finished The Coral Reef Restoration Online Course!
